Pre-Professional Program

In Levels 4 and 4X students are required to attend ballet classes 3 times each week. Level 4/4X includes rigorous ballet training technique and an increased amount of pointe work. Level 4/4X students must also attend one Contemporary, or Jazz class. Level 4/4X emphasizes core work, quick thinking and attention to detail.

Jazz Level 4/4X is an intermediate/advanced level Jazz class which may be taken as part of the Level 4/4X package or as an extra class.

Contemporary Level 4/4X is an intermediate/advanced level Contemporary class. This class may be taken as part of the Level 4/4X package, or as an additional class. For students placed in Level 4 or 4X.

Musical Theater Jazz class for students currently enrolled in Levels 4 through 6.

Level 5 and 5X must attend at least 3 ballet classes per week. The focus in this level is on more intricate foot work and dance sequencing, including more rigorous ballet vocabulary and pointe work. Level 5 and 5X students must also attend a Jazz and a Contemporary class taking a total of 5 classes per week.

Jazz Level 5/5X is an advanced level Jazz class which is required as part of the Level 5 class package.

Contemporary Level 5/5X is an advanced level Contemporary class. This class is required for Level 5/5X.

Musical Theater Jazz class for students currently enrolled in Levels 4 through 6.

Level 6 continues the rigorous pre-professional training, taking a minimum of 3 ballet classes each week plus at least 2 additional class in Jazz and Contemporary.

Jazz Level 6 is an advanced level Jazz class which is part of the requirements for the Level 6 class package.

Contemporary Level 6 is an advanced level Contemporary class. This class is required for Level 6 students.
